After a great Tranquil Summer Isles holiday 2 years ago, we came back for the Magic of Assynt, thinking there was no way it could compare. How wrong we were! Jules and her team (which seemed to involve half of Lochinver!) gave us another superb holiday, with excellent accommodation, food and kayaking in great company.

This was one of the best outdoor experiences - ever. Julie-Ann had everything covered down to the last detail, and everyone in the group felt safe at all times during four action packed days of paddling climbing and portaging in breathtaking surroundings. Unforgettable, and something I shall talk about for a long time to come.

Myself and a friend went on the half day kayaking trip around the Summer Isles on Sunday 19th September and had a fantastic time. Jules was brilliant - it'd been a long time since either of us had been in a kayak but her explanations and teaching were perfect and we were soon on the water having fun!
It was such a brilliant way to see the scenery in a beautiful part of Scotland. And Jules was very very knowledgeable about the area. Also, the homemade ginger cake was delicious.
We can't wait to go back and do a longer trip.

The Lochs and Peaks trip was a brilliant way to see the Assynt & Coigach scenery and gave a great way to access the south side of Suilven. Jules provided enough instruction to make even inexperienced kayakers feel comfortable and enough freedom to make the trip feel like a few days out with a group of friends. The group was well looked after throughout and equipment and food were both of excellent quality. Jules’ knowledge of the area and obvious love for it made the me feel very privileged to have her as our guide for this trip.
