The most Ive laughed in a long time! Our first time out in a Kayak- My self, Husband and our 10 year old son.
I was very nervous not only for myself but for our son Liam who insisted he wanted to go alone (and did so very well I might add).
The tutoring made me feel very at ease after minutes of being out on the water, the games were alot of fun. I did lose the 360 degree turn race due to my hubby getting himself over excited with encouragment and managing to roll himself into the sea! With Jules's calm manner and expertise he was back in his kayak in no time!!!!
The trip was fab and made even more enjoyable sitting on the beach with coffee, yummy homemade cake, watching a seal in the bay.
A brilliant 4hrs thank you Jules we hope to see you next year.

In the area to climb some mountains we opted for an evening paddle. A mixed-ability group, but Jules balanced the learning and fun perfectly for everyone, showing great understanding of those with beginner's nerves or 'bad experience gremlins'. The hot chocolate and ginger cake on the beach hit the spot, and paddling back watching a setting sun was bliss. The quality of the gear and kit by far surpasses that normally provided when hiring kayaks, guided or not. Jules you deserve the great testimonials and repeat custom. I'm already thinking of when I could get back....

The website is inspiring - the actual holiday is PERFECTION. Jules (and Laura)are gifted teachers their confident but understated approach took a tentative novice and boosted my skills and confidence at a rate of knots without me even noticing, learning seemed effortless, I just thought I was having fun. The setting is breathtaking, the accommodation and food all that you could wish for, and all the better for having good company to share it with. What more could you ask for, Jules has thought of everything. Can't wait to go back. Many thanks

Another fabulous adventure this time on the summer Isles. This is the second time out with Jules and I can only say that it should be mandatory for everyone to have this fantastic experience. Great weather, fab food and very good company. Jules you are truly a star.Keep up the good work and hopefully we shall see you next year again.

Just come back from the June 2010 three day Introductory course on the Summer Isles. What a great place to paddle - crystal clear waters, lots of bird life and a friendly seal who popped up not far away. Tanera mor also offered a range of water conditions from flat calm to exciting waves. With just six people in the group there was plenty of individual help with paddling technique and looking back I'm impressed wth how much we all grew in confidence. On the last half day our group opted for a "wet session". Great fun.

What a wonderful week we had ,great food great company and best of all a fantastic trip kayaking all over Assynt, Jules your simply the best and your mum makes great cakes as well.
